Financial Times Ranking 2026: EBS Master in Finance among the Top 30 Worldwide
EBS Universität has once again demonstrated its outstanding international standing in the latest Financial Times Masters in Finance Ranking 2026. The EBS Master in Finance has improved its global position from 37th to 30th place.

With this significant rise, EBS reinforces its position as one of the leading business schools in Germany and Europe. The Financial Times ranking is regarded as one of the most prestigious international university rankings in the fields of business and finance. It evaluates, among other criteria, career progression, salary development, international mobility, diversity, and alumni satisfaction.
Ranking among the top 30 worldwide highlights the high quality of the programme and the excellent career prospects available to EBS graduates in international financial markets. Particularly encouraging is the programme’s consistently positive development within an exceptionally competitive global environment, where the world’s leading business schools compete against one another.
A key success factor of the programme is its close integration of finance, technology, and practical application. In addition to acquiring a strong foundation in classic finance disciplines like corporate finance, private equity, alternative investments and asset management, students develop competencies in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. Through practice-oriented projects, they develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges and gain valuable experience at the intersection of finance and technological innovation during their studies.
Within the FinTech curriculum in particular, students work on data-driven projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. They apply modern analytics and machine learning methods to real economic and societal challenges and develop concrete recommendations for companies and organisations.
“Moving up to 30th place worldwide is a tremendous validation of the outstanding work of our faculty, the dedication of our students, and the strength of our international network. This result demonstrates that EBS successfully prepares its students for demanding careers in the global financial sector,” says Professor Raša Karapandža, Dean of the ̽Լž and Academic Director of the Master in Finance programme.
