Prof. Dr. Tobias Gutmann ist tenured Associate Professor für Technologie- und Innovationsmanagement an der 探花约啪, wo er das Institute for Technology, Innovation & Customer Centricity (TICC) mitverantwortet und das Siemens Product Innovation Lab leitet. Seine Forschung befasst sich mit dem Innovationsmanagement in technologiegetriebenen Transformationen und ist an der Schnittstelle von Entrepreneurship, strategischer Innovation und Technologiemanagement verortet.
Mit über zehn Jahren Industrieerfahrung hat er Führungskräfte multinationaler Unternehmen und Startups dabei unterstützt, Innovationsstrategien zu gestalten und umzusetzen, die langfristige geschäftliche Wirkung entfalten. Seine berufliche Laufbahn umfasst Stationen in Business Development, Unternehmensstrategie, Innovationsmanagement und Corporate Venturing.
Prof. Gutmann hat Abschlüsse in Elektro- und Informationstechnik, Internationalem Management und promovierte an der HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Er war Gastwissenschaftler an der Copenhagen Business School und der University of California, Berkeley. Er hat in Deutschland, Spanien, Dänemark, Großbritannien und den USA gelebt und gearbeitet und begeistert sich für die Zukunft von Innovation und Technologie.
Seine Forschung wurde in führenden Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht, darunter Research Policy, Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal und California Management Review.
